Stormin Norman wins in a close one over Rookie C-Squared at the St Jude! This is Norman’s 2nd victory of the year after taking the Players last month. Also makes it his 8th lifetime and puts him in the top 5 overall, only 345 back. With a major this week, that is striking distance!

Rookie Big V continues to lead all, only 100 over Miles (who moved to 2nd) and 186 over Wilson who has another bad week.

3rd Quarter update shows Rick Miles leading Tate by 85 and Houston by 160. 3rd Quarter Champion Siders in 4th place only 183 back.

We have the US Open this week! Can I repeat my title? YES!

Updated 9:22pm 6/11

Siders still leading at St Jude!

McMillan’s Memorial

Posted by
June 2nd, 2010

Updated 9:47pm 6/7

McMillan takes the Memorial. He was the only one to take Rose. With the bonus he easily ran away with his 2nd victory of the year. Nice going McMillan! This win also moved him up 2 spots from 19th to 17th! But let’s all be honest here – the real news of the week is Zieman coming in 2nd place – that’s his highest placing in YEARS.

We have a new sheriff back in town – The Big V and Wilson seem to be sharing the top spot lately and now it’s the rookie’s turn. He leads Wilson by 46 and 103 over Rick Miles.

Rick Miles takes over the Quarter lead by 68 over Tate and 90 over McMillan.

Golfer counts will not be updated so be sure to account for your Memorial selections when picking your St Jude lineups!

Updated 3:54pm 6/5

Rick Miles takes the lead at the Memorial Championship. It’s a tight race gentlemen!

Updated 8:43am 6/4

Zellman on top early Friday looking to repeat his title at the Memorial Championship!

Updated 8:33am 6/2

Can the Zellman repeate his Memorial Championship?

Golfer Counts will be updated by 4:00 today. If you choose to turn in a line up prior to that, take note of the last update and be sure to include the tournys that are not included in your counts! Otherwise, wait until around 4:00 az time.

Thank you.

Lord Wilson

Updated 6:25pm 5/23

Dave Wilson comes from behind late Sunday to take his 2nd victory of the year in the Byron Nelson by only 4 points over a deflated Fred Miles. Fred has Hunter Mahan to thank for his disappointment after he posts 5 over on the last 5 holes to completely suck the wind and hopes out of him. Ouch.

Mr Wilson is without a doubt on a mission this year!

Updates are in – except for golfer counts. Tate owns the quarter and Wilson is still our sheriff.

Updated 7:53am 5/22

Fred Miles still holding the lead but just barely over Dave Wilson who is coming on strong at the Byron Nelson! They are the only two to get all four through the cut.

3rd quarter update shows Tate holding the lead over Dave Wilson.

YTD update shows Dave Wilson taking back the lead over the Big V!

Updated 10:35am 5/21

We are off! one day late, but that’s ok. Updates to come as Fred Miles leads all midway through Friday at the Byron Nelson!

Updated 8:00pm 5/19

Can Kelly repeat his Byron Nelson Championship from last year? Or will Westy make it 3 Byron’s as he did with the Pebble? The drama continues!

Kill-in Texas!

Updated 9:39pm 5/16

DOUBLE CORRECTION!! I think in the history of the BDGL there is yet to be a double correction but if the commish would pull his head out of his ass this may not be necessary. The Great Tate was not the owner who picked Adam Scott. In fact, it was Killingsworth. He earns a 50 pt bonus for being the only to take the winner of the tourny. That bonus pushes The Kill ahead of The Great Tate. Sorry Tate, but for the 2nd time in BDGL history I have to take a win away from somebody due to my error in scoring.

With that said…… Holy Shitcans! The Kill has recorded his 15th BDGL victory with this win!! That is 5 more than the next best in Westy. Nice going Kill!!

Updated 12:07pm 5/16

CORRECTION!!! The Great Tate wins by 57! I forgot to give him the bonus for being the only owner to take the winning golfer in Adam Scott. Ill have updated score after work today.

Updated 7:23pm 5/15

The Great Tate holds on in Texas at the Valero Open! The Kill makes a late push picking the top 3 golfers with Adam Scott, Jacoboson and Els but it’s not enough. His pick of Dalaet (who???) costs him. Tate wins by 7!

Dave Wilson is back in the Sheriff spot!

West leads all in Power Rankings!

Norman in the top 3! While our long time Anchor Man has given his title over to Jeff Horen!

Everything is updated so click away! (I know you are shocked – it’s been a crazy month, things should iron out here so thank you for your patience!)

Updated 9:44pm 5/13

Please excuse the delay in updating!

The Great Tate looking good at the Valero Open! It’s a new quarter gentlemen!

Other news shows a new Rookie in town. Vernezze is not only the 2nd quarter Ring Holder, but also is the Sheriff holding 1st overall. Very impressive Big V!

Updated 9:26am 5/8/10

A Brown let down allowed the Big V to take control of the quarter yesterday at the Players Championship.

Congrats Vernezze!

Updated 5:52pm 5/1/10

Risser gets his 3rd of the year after shooting the Quail. nice going Bill!

YTD update shows a new sheriff in town! You know I am going to say it, so give me a double Z with a Capital V – yes, the Rookie leads all heading into the last tourny of the 2nd quarter!

2nd Quarter update shows the same. The Big V leads all, looking for his 1st ring in his short career. Up by 25 over Brown – who knows what it takes to capture a ring.

EVERYTHING is updated! Check those counts!!

Updated 5:52pm 5/1/10

Risser still holding 1st after Saturday at the Quail Hollow. This will be Risser’s 3rd this year if he holds on! The Kill right behind as they are the only 2 of 4 owners to get all four in. Kill will go back to back if he pulls it off. These guys are on fire!

Updated 8:08pm 4/30/10

Risser on top as Friday closes at Quail Hollow. and look whos right behind him – the Kill!!

YTD Updated – showing the Big V taking control as Wilson has a not so good week.

Quarter Update shows the same.

Updated 10:00pm 4/29/10

Hayward still leading as Friday closes at Quail Hollow! Hayward is one of only a two owners (can you name the other?) to have won a tournment in back-to-back seasons. This being one of them – see 2005/2006. Can he make it a 3rd? Hope not!

Updated 12:00pm 4/29/10

It is noon somewhere. Hayward leading all at the Quail Hollow! This after his QM last week.

YTD SCORING IS UPDATED! Wilson stays as Sheriff for 4th straight week!

2ND QUARTER UPDATE IS AVAILABLE! Wilson & Wilson – bookends with Dave on top of The Big V by 2! The other Wilson is down by 1073. Big difference so make sure you get the first name right when speaking about them.

Oh my.

Updated 8:57am 4/29/10

Everybody – I will update the site with lineups, scores etc at lunch today. 12:00 AZ time. Sorry for the lack of updates the past few weeks – new schedule has been hectic. But things are calming down. So things should be back to normal moving forward. Thank you for your patience!!

Updated 5:12pm 4/27/10

Quail Follow is here! I will update site tonight when I get home. Until then, if you turn in a lineup, make sure you reference your golfer counts as well as the past two tounys played! I know, its a pain, and I am working on a fix to update counts automatically. Until then, well, it’s a pain.

Can Tim Rogers repeat the Quail from last year? Nope, he quit. So a new champ is in order!

Good luck.

Killing the Big Easy

Heartbreak hotel! Rookie Nacho gets bent over backwards by the 2007 Zurich Champ, The Kill, who takes a ONE point victory with a smile. He owns the league lead in total victories but hasn’t seen glory for two long years. Now the Kill adds another Zurich to his resume, making it a total of 14 lifetime. Nice going Kill!! Sorry Nacho! That just sucks. One point after leading all week? I wouldn’t wish that on anybody, but maybe Hayward. Speaking of Hayward…..

Updating everything else, including golfer counts, later tonight.

Updated 10:55 am 4/25/10

The Notch still leading in New Orleans! Big V still holding 2nd place. Hayward gets his Quatro Magnifico.

Updated 8:30 am 4/23/10

Sorry guys – out of town yesterday.

The Notch currently leads all heading into Friday at the Zurich! Another rookie in the Big V right behind him. It’s rookie week!

Houston holds on to win at the Verizon Heritage. He puts up chalk and it pays off as he captures his 9th lifetime victory. Nice going Houston!

Updated 9:55 pm 4/16/10

Houston is on fire with 4 in the top 20 at the close of Saturday. His cream lineup is rising to the top at the Verizon Heritage. Pinson has a chance as he hopes Kuchar and Choi pull their head out of their ass and make a Sunday push to capture his 1st ever BDGL victory.

Sliding results are updated!

Updated 9:15 am 4/16/10

Pinson leading!? I don’t think those words have ever been echoed in the BDGL. I had to do a recount. But it’s true. The P-Dog is leading early Friday at the Verizon Heritage. He will be hard to beat if Kuchar makes the cut.

Updated 8:00 am 4/15/10

We are off at the Verizon Heritage. No scores yet, and still need 3 lineups!!

Updated 3:00 pm 4/13/10

Long, aka “the other Canadian”, is looking to add to his 1st quarter glory by going back-to-back at the Verizon Heritage.

Golfer counts are updated! Rookie Nacho is going to learn the hard way down the stretch.

YTD stats are updated! Dave Wilson is back in control! 2 points over Vernezze. if you call that control…..

2nd Quarter Updated! Give me a Double Z with a Capital V and you’ll have yourself a solid start to the 2nd quarter!

Power Scores are updated! Dave Wilson and Vernezze tied at the top in Power ranking averaging a solid 8th place each week! Can the Big V add to his record and finish in 2nd again this week? That will be 4 in a row!

Tally Board is updated! Iron Mike one victory away from earning his color!

Tournament victory list is updated!

Sliding results are not updated – what you think I am perfect?

Iron Mike’s Masters

Posted by
April 6th, 2010

Updated 5:00 pm 4/11/10

Iron Mike takes the pebble from Vernezze’s hand as he passes him up late Sunday to take his 2nd Masters in 3 years. Anthony Kim’s sweet 4 holes stretch at the end put Kamolz ahead! Congrats Mike! Sorry Big V. 3rd week in a row you finished in 2nd place. Impressive, but harsh as well!

Miles Masters results are in and it looks like Vernezze’s luck isn’t so tough after all. He takes the Miles Masters 2010 edition in fine form with a score of 39. Next best was Joe Wilson with 51 and Rick himself with 67. The 4th place award (the one you don’t want) goes to Tony Godin as he posts 70 just 3 out of the money.

Updated 4:37 pm 4/9/10

Rookie Vernezze still leading as Friday closes. Only one owner managed to get all 6 in for the weekend. Let’s just say he Grott lucky! Amateur Jordan anchoring.

Updated 9:26 am 4/9/10

Double Z with a capital V! Rookie Vernezze is killin it!! Can a rookie win the Masters two years in a row?

Note to Jeff’s lineup in that it includes all guys that nobody else has taken. 4 in the top 20 too with Couples and Barnes leading. If Katayama and Duval come around today, this may his tourny to lose as he is seeking his league leading 6th major!

While Hayward, who vowed to compete this week, is setting in dead last looking to repeat his Masters Anchor Award. This has never been accomplished in the history of the BDGL. Back to Back Anchors as the Masters. This is huge!

I lost the Miles scores/lineups due to computer crashing last night – have to redo – sorry guys. Will post later after I am done with meetings.

Updated 2:52 pm 4/8/10

McMillan on top!!. Hayward hurting. Too funny!

Rookie Vernezze on top YTD currently by 60 over Dave Wilson. Also leading the 2nd Quarter by 127 over Dave Wilson.

Miles Major updated! Tony Godin on fire!

Updated 7:57 am 4/8/10

We are off! Miles Major to be updated soon.

Updated 4:04 pm 4/5/10

Masters is here! Can Fred Miles repeat his Masterful Miracle from a year ago? Will Hayward come in last as he did a year ago? Can West finally get a major under his belt?? I know he is focused more than ever this year!!

Miles Masters is underway, make sure you get your lineups in for extra action!
